Oliver Dollar will release his LP "Contemporary" on Rekids. The album features collaborative tracks with a number of producers and vocalists, including ADMN, Seven Davis Jr. German house artist Oliver Dollar has announced the November 21, 2025 release of his LP "Contemporary" on Rekids.Since 2024, he has released four EPs on the Radio Slave-led label and more than a dozen He has collaborated with more than 10 artists and singer-songwriters on songs that have been endorsed by many notable artists, including Dam Swindle, Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, Hunee, and Kai Alce. Since 2011, Industry Standard label boss Oliver Dollar has been a firm fixture on the house music scene. He was one of the key players in Berlin during the heyday of fidget house, and has achieved releases on labels such as Snatch! and Todd Edwards. For this LP, Contemporary, Ohrman has taken this collaborative spirit even further, bringing together friends and colleagues from across the Atlantic who share a common vision of house music that connects Berlin and Detroit. The album opens with "The New Is Here," a collaboration with Nils Ohrman. It is a soulful song that combines warmth and gravitas and sets the tone for the entire album. The song was previously remixed as a club-oriented dub version for Contemporary Part Four.The following "Downtown," a collaboration with Phil WZK, features a deep, jazz-infused groove overlaid with a spoken monologue that evokes intimacy and universality; vocalists APROPOS, Boog Brown, and Billy Love provide soulful, gospel-tinged vocals. Producers such as ADMN, Seven Davis Jr., Harvard Bass, Brillstein, and Austin Ato offer songs that range from uplifting disco-tinged sounds to deep, dubby, hypnotic grooves. The music is provided by a wide range of artists. More than just a list of featured artists, the entire album flows as one unified message, celebrating community, connection, and the timeless energy of house music. Rekids, the Radio Slave-led label founded in 2006, launched the techno-focused sub-label Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and the newest sub-label REK'D in 2024. With Matt Edwards as sole A&R, Rekids is dedicated to discovering and nurturing up-and-coming artists and has established itself as a trusted label for house music and its surrounding genres. Oliver Dollar's album on Rekids, "Contemporary," is the result of a true team effort. is truly a team effort, bringing together a number of talented artists and producers to create a masterpiece that seamlessly blends contemporary and classic house, dub, and disco.
