GHOSTKID, a band formed by former Electric Cowboy member Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler Loss of self, self-blame, loneliness, dependence, regret… GHOSTKID’s third album, *FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT* (neon pink vinyl), created by Sushi during the most grueling period of his life GHOSTKID is a project launched by former ELECTRIC CALLBOY member Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler, who gathered like-minded musicians to form the band. The band boldly fuses modern metalcore, nu-metal, industrial, and electronica, creating a sound that is thrilling, dark, and heavy, yet also features catchy melodies. Their third album, *FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT*, released two years after their previous album *HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE* (2024), marks a fresh start for frontman Sushi. As the title suggests, this album confronts the question: “What exactly lies at the end of the rabbit hole within my own mind?” Heavily influenced by Lewis Carroll’s classic *Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland* and the video game *Alice: Nightmare*, this album delves deep into his own subconscious. “Once you step into the rabbit hole, you’ll face a series of terrifyingly strange events that make you doubt your own sanity. This album depicts exactly that,” says Sushi. He adds, “This album was born during a time when I felt like I’d lost everything. It was a time when I felt like I’d even lost myself. During that time, music was the only thing that stayed by my side.” He also candidly admits that he hasn’t fully recovered yet. The album opens with the nostalgic (1) “The End,” followed by (2) “Ivory”—the core of this work, which Sushi completed while going through the most painful period of his life—and then continues with (3) “MotherDeath,” where Sushi’s screams cut through the ominous atmosphere, shrouded in the scent of death, (3) “Mother Death”—a track shrouded in the aura of death—slicing through the ominous atmosphere. Sushi’s destructive screams, which confront his own sins, are heart-wrenching in (4) “I Destroyed You,” while a violent breakdown erupts in the latter half of (7) “GiveYourKidsAGunToPlay,” (8) “NEON (feat. MazUniverze),” which incorporates a hip-hop-inspired approach, and all the way to the majestic (11) “WhiteRainbow” that closes the album—Sushi’s wide-ranging musicality and expressiveness are fully on display throughout the album. GHOSTKID’s third album, once again produced by German producer Skyvan Hoff (Rammstein, Kreator), brings Sushi’s diverse musical roots to fruition as a contemporary and one-of-a-kind sound. *FOLLOWTHEWHITERABBIT* is his most personal work to date and powerfully showcases his talent and identity as a musician. Following the departure of all band members in May 2026, GHOSTKID is now a one-man project led by Sushi. On the album release tour, which kicks off in October—immediately following the album’s release—and visits 18 cities across Europe, the band will relaunch as the “new GHOSTKID” with new band members.
