Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (released in 1970) is reissued on Mobil Fidelity's MoFi SuperVinyl. Bridge Over Troubled Water" is Simon & Garfunkel's fifth and final studio album, released in January 1970. At the time, American society was shaken by the protracted war and civil rights movement, and a sense of unease was gradually spreading throughout the country. The album spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. charts. The album features a variety of styles and includes four Top 10 singles. The album won six Grammy Awards, including major categories such as Best Record, Best Album, and Best Song. ＜MoFi SuperVinyl is a unique analog vinyl material developed jointly by NEOTECH and RTI of California, USA.The newly developed carbonless dye (translucent) allows for more precise groove production, indistinguishable from the original lacquer disc, and reproduces sound quality as close as possible to that of the mastering studio.
