Produced by Narada Michael Walden, it is one of the most popular female vocal albums of the 1980s, with a perfect balance of dance-pop and ballads. The album debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts. The album featured the single cuts "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" (Sutekina Somebody), "Didn't We Almost Have it All" (Love Advice), "So Emotional" (Gently Emotional), "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" (Broken Hearts), all four songs reached No. 1 in the U.S., achieving an unprecedented seven consecutive No. 1 songs since the previous album.Whitney cemented her status as a superstar with this album. This time, it is reissued on MoFi SuperVinyl, Mobil Fidelity's proprietary analog vinyl material. <MoFi SuperVinyl is an original analog disc material newly developed in collaboration with NEOTECH and RTI in California, USA. The newly developed carbonless dye (translucent) makes it possible to produce more precise grooves, indistinguishable from those of the original lacquer vinyl, and reproduces sound quality as close as possible to that of a mastering studio.
