Utopia For Realists: Hungarian Pictures" album by Mandoki Soulmates, a project formed by Leslie Mandoki that transcends borders, nationalities and musical genres. German-Hungarian musician/producer Leslie Mandoki will release "Utopia For Realists: Hungarian Pictures," a live album that brings together legendary jazz and rock musicians. (Leslie Mandoki was a member of the German group Dschinghis Khan, whose songs "Genghis Khan" and "Mezase Moscow" were international hits in the 1970s.) Joining Leslie Mandoki were Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Al Di Meola, Peter Maffay, Nick Van Eede (Cutting Crew), John Helliwell (Supertramp), and Till Bronner, Bobby Kimball (TOTO), and many other talented musicians. The combined accomplishments of the members of the group have resulted in a total of 35 Grammy Awards and more than 350 million records sold.Under the direction of Leslie Mandoki, the group has created a unique world of progressive rock with spicy jazz and various musical elements. This group is not just a band, but a community with the same values. Musicians who agree with him that "a musician who should always share his feelings with his audience should never rest at any time," have gathered together, transcending nationality and genre, to give a wonderful performance that seems to satisfy their thirst for performance. Digitalization has made it possible for soul mates to perform concerts together beyond regional barriers. And we can use music to overcome the barriers in our hearts." The Mandoki Soulmates have announced that they will perform three shows in Germany in November 2022.
