New Scandinavian band to take Japan by storm once again! Danish rock band "H.E.R.O."(Hero) is pleased to announce the beginning of a new phase in 2020 with their second album "Bad Blood". Formed in 2014. The band has already performed as a support act for the popular local band "Dizzy Miz Lizzy" and has attracted attention not only in their home country but also abroad. In Japan, they made their first visit to Japan in November 2018 to perform at the showcase event "HOKUO LOUD NIGHT". Their performance, which was one of the first to be shown to the world before their debut, was received with rave reviews, and they showed more than enough ability without regret as an appeal for their upcoming debut in Japan. This visit to Japan led to the band's selection as the support act for SLASH feat. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators' Japan tour in January 2019. This was the band's second visit to Japan before their Japanese debut, showing the momentum they have gained in Japan. Their debut album, "Humanic," produced along with that momentum, will be released in April 2019.Especially in Japan, the preceding single "Super Powers" was selected for the power play on all radio stations in Japan and ranked No. 1 on the April radio on-air chart (Western music) for four weeks in a row, beating out many big-name artists. In response to this accomplishment, Christopher will make an emergency solo promotional visit to Japan in May. With an acoustic guitar in hand, he traveled around Japan for five days, conducting more than 40 interviews. The media, which usually do not cover foreign artists, sent enthusiastic love calls to the Danish frontman. In 2020, he will hold his long-awaited solo Japan tour in Tokyo and Osaka (January 31 (Fri.) at Shinsaibashi SOMA in Osaka, and February 1 (Sat.) at SPACE ODD in Daikanyama, Tokyo). Although it had been less than a year since their debut, many fans gathered for their solo show and the venue was filled with excitement. Their long-awaited second album, "Bad Blood," further refines the fusion of hard rock and catchy pop melodies that characterize their sound, and proves that the band itself has the power to break new ground. Vocalist Chris says of the new album, "We've noticed how electronic elements fit our music, so we're using them more in the songs on this record. It's going to feature a lot more on stage." He adds, "We're going to feature it a lot on stage.Released only a year after their last album, "Bad Blood" is a condensed version of the band's momentum. Their evolution never stops.
