Uninhibited and meticulously constructed! Sons of Apollo's second album "MMXX", which raised the progressive level of the band, features Mike Portnoy (Dr.) and Derek Sherinian (Key) formerly of DREAM THEATER, Ron "Bumblefoot" Searle (G) formerly of GUNS N' ROSES, Billy Sheen (B) formerly of MR. SONS OF APOLLO is a super "god" band formed in 2017 by Ron "Bumblefoot" Searle (G) from YNGWIE J. MALMSTEEN'S RISING FORCE and Jeff Scott Thort (Vo) who is currently active in SOTO. The band's activities since their debut clearly show that they are putting the most emphasis on this "dream team", and they are maintaining their best condition, breaking the jinx that says "supergroups have a short life span". The last world tour was a total of 83 shows, and in September 2018, the band made its first visit to Japan, and in September 2019, they are already releasing a spectacular live album. The band's second album, "MMXX" ("2020" in Roman numerals), is now complete.The band members have shared a lot of playing time together, which has strengthened the bond between them and the ensemble, and they have succeeded in upgrading everything, including tighter playing than in the previous album, as well as more unrestrained and precisely constructed arrangements. The one and only thrilling and brilliant technical playing explodes throughout the entire album!
