Starcrawler was formed in Los Angeles in 2015 when charismatic vocalist Alou de Wilde, born to a musician and photographer, met guitarist Henry Cash in high school and was joined by Austin Smith (drums) and Tim Franco (bass). In 2018, Starcrawler sold out all three shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka on their first Japan tour in support of their debut album "Starcrawler" and performed at Fuji Rock Festival in the same year, creating a huge sensation not only around the world but also here in Japan. Starcrawler has released their second and latest album "Devour You"! This latest album, which is a condensed version of their uncontrollable and aggressive live performances, is produced by Nick Roney (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Ya Ya Ya's) and retains the roughness and energy of their previous album, but also shows a more elegant side of them that was not seen in their previous album. The new album is a new evolution of the band's sound, which retains the roughness and energy of the previous album, but reveals a side of elegance that was not present in the previous album.With elaborate, precise, and hard-hitting variations of sound, this album is completed with a selection of songs that emit both raw sensitivity and unbridled power, the excitement of rock and roll, the blood and sweat shed in live performances, bruised knees and broken fingers, and all the feelings that come with it!
