Gang Gang Dance

Description:

"Gang Gang Dance, a sharp-edged musical collective that broke down the boundaries between music and art and stood out from the crowd in New York City in the early 2000s, where Animal Collective, LCD Soundsystem, Battles, and other acts that would go on to become headliner-class acts were being created, is back after seven years of silence! After 7 years of silence, Gang Gang Dance has relaunched! The long-awaited release of the album Kazashita. Gang Gang Dance was formed in the early 2000s by Lizzie Bougatsos, Brian DeGraw, and Josh Diamond. Their early works were highly acclaimed in the experimental music scene that was gaining momentum in New York at the time, and on August 8, 2008, they were asked to conduct at 88 Boadrum by Boredoms, and their masterpiece "Saint Dymphna," released shortly after, took the band beyond cult status and led to the release of the album "Saint Dymphna," which was released by their allies With the release of their masterpiece "Saint Dymphna," the band quickly became more than a cult band, and together with their allies Animal Collective, they became a central figure in the scene. After signing a contract with 4AD, they released "Eye Contact".In addition to releasing his own work, he is also known for his collaborations with graffiti artist Dash Snow, Nate Roman, Tinchy Strider, and the Boredoms, who all passed away at a young age. The band's music is a unique blend of post-rock, electronica, industrial, shoegaze, psychedelic, and experimental rhythms and styles, with the shamanic vocals of Lizzie Bougatsos, which transports the listener into a fresh and tribal otherworld. After seven years of silence, Kazuashita is their latest release. This work was produced by DeGraw, who after several recording sessions in New York studios and art spaces, collaborated with drummers Ryan Sawyer and Ariel Pink, whom he met at BOADRUM and who are known for their collaboration with BOADRUM, and for whom this album was produced in part by production and He completed the work with Jorge Elbrecht, who was in charge of mixing. The album cover art features the work of young American art photographer David Benjamin Shelley."
