This fifth box set is a compilation of the award-winning and highly acclaimed FIVE YEARS (1969-1973), WHO CAN I BE NOW? ALIEN (1983-1988), and will be released in two formats: an 11-CD box set and an 18-CD analog box set.Named after the title of a striking instrumental piece with the tones of a koto (Japanese harp) that appears on the 1999 album "'hours...'" BRILLIANT ADVENTURE (1992-2001), named after the title of the impressive instrumental piece on the Koto (Japanese harp) on the album "'hours...'", released in 1999, includes Bowie's other albums during this period such as "BLACK TIE WHITE NOISE", "THE BUDDHA OF SUBURBIA (which was never released in Japan and has been hard to find in analog form for over 30 years), 1. OUTSIDE, EARTHLING, and 'hours...'. In addition, there is a live album of the band's performance at the BBC Radio Theatre in London on June 27, 2000, as well as a collection of songs not included on the album, alternate versions, and B-sides. RE:CALL 5", a compilation of songs not included on the album, alternate versions and B-sides, and Bowie's unreleased album "TOY", which has now become a legend. RE:CALL 5," which includes a live recording of "BBC RADIO THEATRE, LONDON, JUNE 27, 2000" from "BRILLIANT ADVENTURE (1992-2001)" as well as songs not included on the album and B-side songs, is an album exclusive to this box set. The June 27, 2000 show was performed for 500 lucky fans at the BBC's art deco theater in Central London, two days after the Glastonbury performance. Although some of the songs from this show were included on the third CD of the limited edition three-CD album BOWIE AT THE BEEB, released in September 2000, this is the first time the show has been presented as a full concert.In addition, "RE:CALL 5" is a 3 CD (4 LP in analog box) collection of 39 songs, including songs not on the album, different versions, B-side songs, and songs that were provided for movie soundtracks.
