This latest recording, consisting of a violin concerto and two romances, is a new release on the occasion of Beethoven's 250th anniversary in December 2020. This recording with the Lucerne Festival String Orchestra was made in Switzerland in March 2020, shortly after the Corona pandemic forced the cancellation of performances and a world tour. When I think of how Beethoven was able to maintain a strong sense of conviction, morality, and self-control in the face of so many challenges, his own life taught me that any human being who strives for and achieves the highest peak has the potential for sustained self-control over the tremendous challenges and struggles that lie ahead," said Dr. Kurt Steinberg.
