This is a project by Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, one of the world's foremost embodiments of French pianism, to record Haydn's complete piano sonatas. Volume 5 of the project includes six piano sonatas, including the "Three Sonatas Op.37 (Nos. 54-56)" dedicated to Duchess Marie Esterházy of the Esterházy family. Haydn is a composer who is always open to new interpretations, and Bavouzet has always challenged himself to create a new world.
