John Resnick: John Resnick has been a band for over 30 years, with 14 No. 1 and Top 10 songs on the Hot Adult Contemporary charts, and has sold over 12 million albums. Since their debut in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls have released numerous mega-hit singles since the mid-90s after a decade of hard work and have gone from "America's Most Famous Unknown Band" to "Best American Rock Band. With their heartbreaking melody lines, modern rock sound, and melancholy ballad sound, they are the very embodiment of the American rock dream.After a 2018 tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of their hit 1998 album, DIZZY UP THE GIRL, and performing songs from 20 years ago in front of a large audience of fans, these Goo Goo Dolls, consisting of John Resnick and Robbie Taycock, were struck by the content of the songs sung there and They became aware of the differences between what they were singing and life in the modern world. The band's 12th album and first in three years, "Miracle Pill," was released in June, with a new song, "Miracle Pill," as the album title track.
