They have continued to grow from "America's most famous unknown band" to "America's best American rock band" with their heartbreaking melody lines, modern rock sound, and melancholy ballad sound. The Goo Goo Dolls are the embodiment of the American rock dream. The Goo Goo Dolls are releasing an album of rare tracks recorded between 1995 and 2007. During this period, the Goo Goo Dolls sent a string of singles to the charts and quickly entered the mainstream. They were nominated for a Grammy Award and became recognized as one of the most important bands in the American rock scene, and were in the so-called "golden age" of their career. RARITIES" is a collection of 20 songs, including B-side singles, live tracks, acoustic versions, radio performances, songs released only outside the U.S., and songs that were not included on the album.The album includes acoustic versions of their biggest hits such as "Name" and "Iris", the Chris Lord-Alge Remix of "Long Way Down" (featured on the soundtrack to the movie "TWISTER"), live versions of "Let Love In" and "Listen" recorded at the historic Capitol Studios, and the album closes with the essential major league anthem "Take Me Out To The Ball Game"! The album also features live versions of "Let Love In" and "Listen" recorded at the historic Capitol Studios, and the album closes with "Take Me Out To The Ball Game," an essential Major League Baseball anthem! Also preceding the track from the album is a live cover of INXS' "Don't Change". Fans of the band will be pleased to know that the album includes many live versions of their highly acclaimed live band's songs. The band released "EP21," a simple recording of four popular songs from the band's repertoire during the pandemic of the new coronavirus that locked down much of the United States in April of this year, and they are currently working on their thirteenth studio album.
