Sonata in F major, K.280, No. 2" and "Sonata in C major, K.279, No. 1," which were written at about the same time, just after Mozart's trip to Italy, with bright tunes. Sonata in D major, K.576 No.18," Mozart's last piano sonata with an impressive opening theme in the first movement. Bezeidenhout's performance directly conveys Mozart's spark, as if the music were bubbling up right here and now. The various variations and pieces recorded with the sonata are also lovely, with a richly varied style of singing. King International
