Description:
The first reissue of a fantastic psychedelic session album by British studio musicians, including Andy Summers of the Police! The cover and the title of this album looks like a peaceful Christmas album, but it is actually an acid-flavored session album by British studio musicians including Hilton Valentine and Barry Jenkins of the Animals, singer/songwriter Tim Rose, Andy Summers of the Police, and many more! This is a session work full of acid flavors! The credits are different for each song, and it is still a mystery as to what the purpose of the album was, but the rarity of the original private press release, combined with the fact that it was released on a private press, has made it one that psychedelic lovers have long wanted to have reissued. The songs are excellent, and the feel of professionally recreated acid folk/hippie free music via pop psychedelic music is hard to find. Some of the tunes are funky enough to be used by a live DJ, making this an interesting album in many ways.
