This historic debut album was released on Friday, February 13, 1970. The atypical heavy sound with ultra-low riffs created by Tony Iommi (g), Geezer Butler (b), and Bill Ward (b), and the haunting vocals of Ozzy Osbourne (vo) with black magic elements, had too much impact to lead the hippie movement in the late 60's. The album was released on February 13, 1970, and was a great success. The next album, "Paranoid", was released in 1985 and had a strong impact on the hippie movement. Although their next album, "Paranoid," is more representative in a general sense, it cannot be overlooked in the history of the band and heavy rock. The beginning of everything is here.
