Bach's The Technique of Fugue (PCDA 67980), for which she received the 52nd Record Academy Award, and Rameau's Clavusan, has now released her first recording of Domenico Scarlatti's Sonatas, a collection of 555 sonatas selected from the works of the composer. Fazioli's gentle and noble tone shines through the 16 sonatas selected from the 555 sonatas on the album. Tracks 1 through 8 are recorded in the same order as they were performed in Japan, and the album closes with the K.380 sonata played as an encore. Tokyo M-Plus
