Description:

A one-of-a-kind Christmas album by contemporary master composers and performers 《Roger & Brian Eno et al - Winter Tales》 All tracks and arrangements are inspired by the artists' Christmas imaginations and represent gratitude, hope and harmony. Each song pays homage to their homeland, childhood and personal memories. From airy piano music and choral pieces to traditional festive music, the varied songs and moods are perfect for Christmas and winter music. The album begins with the well-known "Oh Holy Night," sung with new lyrics by Brian Eno and played on all instruments by his brother Roger, followed by the Scottish Christmas carol "Taladh Chriosta," sung by singers including Grace Davidson, a very slow and peaceful, solo piano piece titled "Sleep for Mama" performed by Vikingsl Olafsson; and "Jezus Maluslenki," a Polish Christmas carol reworked by Hanya Lani and Dobrava Chohel, both from Poland, A beautiful reworking of "Conventry Carol" for piano and guitar by the Texas duo Balmoray, and a new version of the Norwegian Christmas carol "Mitt hjerte alltid vanker" by violinist Mari Samuelsen from her native Norway. and "Mitt hjerte alltid vanker," a Norwegian Christmas carol performed by violinist Mari Samuelsen in a new version. Then Norwegian singer-songwriter and composer Arne Brun will perform a beautiful choral piece from the famous carol "Lo! How a Rose E'er Blooming," while composer and pianist Dustin O'Halloran will join composer and violinist Brian Senti in a new version of the old song "What Gently Flutters" based on an Icelandic Christmas folk song. German composer and pianist Abbott reworked the famous German Christmas carol "Nu zijt Wellekome" for chorus and electronics. The British composer duo Vanbur will perform a new reworking of the English Christmas song "Carol Of The Bells," while the Berlin-based string quartet Classical Sundays will perform a new version of the Jewish Hanukkah song "Maoz Tzur.
