The duo has been working on this project for Santa for the past 10 years.The 10 songs on LP1 feature traditional Christmas songs that have been widely loved around the world throughout the ages, beginning with "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year," followed by "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town," "Let It Snow," and "Jingle Bell Rock," all of which are well known and fun songs. Starting with "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year," the album features such well-known holiday songs as "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town," "Let It Snow," and "Jingle Bell Rock. The eleven songs on LP2 are original Christmas songs that Dan and Shay wrote together with other songwriters. Three of the songs were written by Dan alone. The album was produced by Dan and Scott Hendricks. The album will also include six Christmas songs that they have released since 2014. This will be the first time that these songs will be included on the album.2020's "Take Me Home For Christmas" and 2022's "Pick Out A Christmas Tree" have already been certified gold singles by the Recording Industry Association of America. Also, 2021's "Officially Christmas" has been a hit, reaching #1 on the U.S. Country Airplay Holiday Releases Chart with over 45 million streams, and "Holiday Party" has been a hit with over 30 million streams.
