Japanese-American aunt-tenor Brian Asawa, who died in 2016 at the age of 50, took the world by storm in the 1990s with his beautiful voice, performing a wide range of roles from baroque to contemporary in major opera houses in Europe and the United States, including the Metropolitan Opera House. In addition to his solo albums for RCA, this collection includes a collection of A. Scarlatti cantatas and arias from Handel's "Serse" for the British Conifer label under the direction of Nicholas McGegan. The recordings were remastered at b-sharp studios in Berlin at 24-bit / 88.2KHz for a more stretched sound that is more faithful to the master tapes. This set does not include a booklet.
