Cook, Julia Holter, Kero Kero Bonito, and others, and has earned a cult following as a pioneer of hyperpop music. Max Tundra is a pioneer of hyper-pop music, collaborating with the likes of Progressive Rock, Jazz, Minimal Music, Pop Music, and Electronic Music, and creating innovative sounds in a cross-genre style. His debut album, "Some Best Friend You Turned Out To Be" (2000), was recorded shortly after he left his parents' house, using a Commodore Amiga home computer. This instrumental album, which was produced as "genre-defying music," was clearly just the tip of the iceberg of Jacobs' pioneering sound, as subsequent releases have shown.
