The band is led by John Mason, who played keyboards on the last FRUUPP album, and an American keyboardist living in the U.K. This long-awaited first CD release from 1978 features an impressive combination of a rhythm section as high-tension as BRAND X and spacy synths! The band later became known for their participation in the works of famous artists such as MASSIVE ATTACK and Mike Oldfield, and for their production of music for TV shows and dramas such as "Peak Practice" and "Bend It Like Beckham" on the Sue Lawley Show, This is the '78 release from Visitor 2035, a jazz-rock band formed in London in the late 70's, featuring Craig Pruess, a keyboardist from the US, and John Mason, who played keyboards on FRUUPP's last album, "Modern Masquerades". The rhythm section, which consists of drums and bass, produces a tremendous groove, and the orchestral arrangement of strings and wind instruments creates a theatrical atmosphere,The guitarist's cool face throughout the song stimulates each other, and you will be overwhelmed by the performance from the beginning of 'Don Genaro's Waltz,' a killer odd-time jazz-rock number. The primitive synths of 'At The Gates Of Consciousness', which develops a sound world ranging from synth-pop to space rock over a rhythm section as dynamic as ever, and 'Toefunk', a jazz-funk number with an impressive bouncing electric piano that lives up to its name, are sure to leave you in awe. Toefunk', which is a jazz funk with an impressive jazz funk sound with a bouncy electric piano, and 'Toefunk', which is a jazz rock/fusion sound with a spacy flavor that is inspired by the cover design, while keeping the heat level low. The old B-side starts off with 'Centre Of The Winds', which once again recaptures the vitality of the first track, with ever-playing guitars and a series of mid-paced kicks that are truly impressive. The last song, 'Cassiopeia' and 'Contemplation,' takes a turn for the better and closes the album with a laid-back tune featuring saxophone and acoustic guitar.Although it did not receive much attention at the time due to its age in the late 70's, the fusion of high-tension performance and spacious synths comparable to BRAND X/early SECRET OYSTER, etc., and the contrast between movement and stillness clearly divided for each song are truly outstanding. ! This is a masterpiece that all jazz-rock fans should take this reissue as an opportunity to give it a listen!
