The Czech Late Romantic Viola Works of Hans Zit! Eudora, a Spanish high quality sound label, presents a collection of the viola works of the Czech late Romantic violinist Hans Zit, performed by Spanish violist Alicia Calabucci. Alicia Calabucci, a native of Madrid, studied viola at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid, the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, and the Anton Bruckner Private University, where she graduated with highest honors, and in 2009 she performed with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in Venezuela and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester in She has performed with the He is a member of the Ensemble Tetraktis and the Bauhaus Quartet, as well as a member of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, where he is dedicated to the training of young musicians. Hans Zitto, featured on this album, is a violinist, composer, and music educator who was appointed concertmaster of the Breslau Opera Orchestra at the age of 17 and has also worked as a conductor in France, Austria, and Germany.He also held a professorship in the violin department of the Leipzig Conservatory and wrote a didactic book for violin. His works include a piece for violin, an orchestral piece, and two piano trios, but he is also known for his orchestral arrangement of Grieg's "Norwegian Dances" (originally written for piano trio). The format is a hybrid of SACD Stereo/Multichannel and MQA-CD, and the CD layer can be played back as a high-resolution sound source by using MQA-compatible equipment. Tokyo M-Plus
