The most popular work of Brazilian music genius Ton Zé, released in 1972 on Continental, is now reissued on LP in a gorgeous binding! After gaining recognition through the Tropicália movement, but experiencing setbacks due to several "strategic failures," Ton Zée found a new home on the Continental label and created this historical masterpiece with an unceasing interest in the unexplored, the experimental, and the unusual. The listener is treated to a more mature music in which social issues, outdated concepts, misguided traditions, and the hypocrisy of military regimes are addressed. The rhythms and sounds are the work of a master of sound, everything is lean and feels like it contains only the necessary elements for this world. This is truly a work that can be said to have a genre that can only be Ton Zee, and in true Tres Selos fashion, the booklet includes new testimonies from the man himself, never-before-seen photos, liner notes by Bent Araujo, author of "Lindo Sonho Delirante," and TIP-ON! The reissue comes in a gorgeous Gateford cover.
