The Eibler String Quartet, an ensemble based in Toronto, Canada, was formed in 2004 by the members of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and the Handel & Haydn Society (HHS), and makes its first appearance on CORO! The quartet features HHS Concert Mistress Aislinn Nosky, who has performed as a soloist in the HHS Haydn series with Harry Christophers, Julia Wedman on violin, who is also a member of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Patrick Jordan on viola, and Niaiaia Jordan on cello. Patrick Jordan on viola, and Margaret Gay on cello, who is also the music director of the Niagara Gallery Players, make up an ensemble that is one of the leading quartets in North America.
