Takemitsu and Tanjun as the core members. A collection of piano works full of serene atmosphere! Abbeduto studied at the Conservatory of Gallarate Puccini and studied interpretation of contemporary music at the Conservatory of Bergamo Donizetti. His main repertoire is contemporary music, mainly by Italian composers. He has given recitals throughout Japan with a program of contemporary music. In recent years, she has also been focusing on duo activities with percussionist Massimiliano Varotto. This disc is a performance full of tranquility and atmosphere, just as the title of the album suggests. The composition of Toru Takemitsu and Tan Dun as the main players is very successful, and the result is very well put together. The sound is rich and clean, and the recording is also noteworthy for its ability to capture a spacious soundstage. I recommend this disc even to those who are not familiar with contemporary music.
