Asbjorn Krogtoft, aka "Asa", a multi-instrumentalist/SSW who has been active as a songwriter/producer as well as a solo artist, was a member of 126, TABOO, POPOL ACE and other leading rock bands in Norway's music scene in the late 70s. Asbjorn Krogtoft, a multi-musician/SSW "Asa" who is a songwriter/producer as well as a solo artist, has released his '83 album on CD for the first time in 2011 from Norske Albumklassikere in Norway! This album features Terje Nilsen (b) and Finn Sletten (drs/perc) of CROSSBREEZE, an obscure progressive band that released their only album in '75, and also continues to be active as a leader of their own group, HOFF ENSEMBLE, in '23. With the support of jazz pianist Jan Gunnar Hoff (p/org) and female vocalist Wanja Oro (vo), the band presents a more modern/stylish version of the West Coast-influenced pop-rock that was heard in their 70s works, with an 80s touch.The master was newly remastered by Giert Claussen, the engineer who handles all of the label's productions, and is based on the original LP.
