Norwegian jazz-rock/crossover band formed in '73 with Jon Eberson (g), who has been active in the Norwegian jazz scene until now, and disbanded in '76 with two studio albums in the mid-70s. Their first album was released on Norway: Plateselskapet Mai in '74 and was reissued on CD for the first time in '21! The band's first album, released on Norway: Plateselskapet Mai in '74, is now available on CD for the first time in '21! The album features Brynjulf Blix (p/key/synth) on electric piano/keyboards with many hands, thrillingly fast guitars, and angular bass/drumming, and is a serious, hardcore jazz band with some psychedelic elements without going towards a fusion sound of the time. The band's sound is serious, hard-edged jazz-rock with a hint of psychedelic elements, without going towards a fusion sound of the era.However, the funky number 'Ebers' Funk' is just as funky as the title suggests, with wah-wah keyboards and a speedy fuzz guitar solo in the second half; 'B. M.' is a 10-minute-plus epic with chilled Hammond organ/guitar matched by detailed cymbal work; 'Flytende Oye' has a spacey feel with echoes; and 'Skakke-Jensen's' has a very abstract and tense development with fragmented tempo.
