Jorn Pädeschen(CD)46'21 "Unravel Tradition" is the debut album by Norwegian mezzo-soprano Tone Kummelvoll. It presents various aspects of her repertoire, including some world premiere recordings written especially for her. Tone Kummervold was born in Oslo and studied at the Norwegian University of Technology and Natural Sciences (NTNU) in Trondheim and at the University of Stavanger where Elisabet Norberg-Schuls teaches.In 2009, she made her debut with the Norwegian National Opera, singing the role of the third nymph in "Rusalka". The following year, she further demonstrated her talent in the role of Olga in "Evgeny Onegin," and joined the National Opera's soloist ensemble for the 2012/2013 season. In 2022, Missy Mazzoli will join the Philadelphia Opera and the Philadelphia Opera as Missy Mazzoli. In 2022, Missy Mazzoli's "The Listeners," commissioned by Philadelphia Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago, had its world premiere in Oslo prior to its American premiere, with Kummelvoll singing the role of Angela.
