She was the recipient of the Borletti Buitoni Foundation Award in 2010. The album's main work, a collection of Chopin preludes, is impressive for its deep sound and rubato pianism. In "Raindrops," he swings the tempo plenty, creating tasteful "gaps." In the latter half of the album, the coupling exercises and waltzes create a more fantastic and bewitching world, and the final Scherzo No. 2 bursts out with a dark passion. The album title, "Ghost," the composition, the performance, and the jacket design give the impression that Chopin's spirit has been resurrected, and this is a piece that gives one a frightening feeling.
