Two years after that miraculous collaboration, the two have finally completed a full-length studio album as a project between the two artists, also known as "Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp"! When Jeff Beck met Johnny Depp in 2016, they felt a connection like blood relatives. The two hit it off immediately over common interests like cars and guitars, and they spent most of their time together making each other laugh. At the same time, Beck's appreciation for Depp's very rich songwriting abilities and solid ear for music grew. Beck felt strongly about this talent and the chemistry between the two of them, and he was convinced that they should make an album together.
