The 90-minute live album features 18 songs from "FLEETWOOD MAC," the band's first No. 1 album released in 1975, and "Rumours," which was just released in 1977. Live: DELUXE EDITION, an expanded edition of Fleetwood Mac's 1980 live album released in 2021, included a live version of "Gold Dust Woman" from that night's show. The remaining 17 songs are all previously unreleased material, making "Rumours Live" an extremely valuable and previously unreleased live album that captures the band at the peak of their powers.The set list for this concert consisted of songs from 1975's FLEETWOOD MAC, which was recorded with a lineup that included Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, and new members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and The band recorded a lineup that included new members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and songs from 1977's "RUMOURS". Other tracks included a performance of "Oh Well," a rock guitar masterpiece written by band founder and guitarist Peter Green and released in 1969, and the only tribute to previous albums by Fleetwood Mac. The live album was recorded at the Forum performance by engineer Ken Caillat, who also recorded the studio album RUMOURS, using the Record Plant's mobile recording van.He captures the band at the peak of their enthusiasm for the RUMOURS album, including powerful live versions of "Landslid," "Never Going Back Again," "Songbird," and "The Chain."
