It explores the impact technology has had on our culture over the years, and features collaborations with Roseanne Cash, Lucius, and Wise Blood, as well as keyboardist and composer who has worked with Leon Russell, Elton John, Cassandra Wilson, Willie Nelson, and others. The album features a total of 12 songs, with participation from Keefus Cancia, drummer Jay Bellrose, and others. The first track from the album, "Waiting For You with Lucius," featuring Lucius, is currently available for preorder.The album promises a thorough return to folk and form for this formidable guitarist/singer/songwriter, paying homage to his country and bluegrass roots while at the same time complementing the music that new fans will intuitively love, with a sound that is as distinctive as today's indie and This is a vocal work that sounds like the conscience of America, as only Burnett could have established the sound of alternative rock.
