The new album, "The Gods We Can Touch", is an elegant and very beautiful, yet inspiring work about shame, desire, and morality through the prism of Greek mythological stories. Throughout the album, which consists of 15 songs, each song is set to touch on a different story inspired by a different god. Of her new album, "The Gods We Can Touch," Aurora says: "The spiritual door between man and the gods is a very complex one. When approached correctly, faith can be the most beautiful thing. It is nurturing and warming. But when mis-stepped, it can be something that leads us to war and death. I have always been uncomfortable with the idea that we are born unworthy and that we must make ourselves worthy by suppressing the forces within us to be human. Not perfect, not perfect, but ordinary. How can we find the divine power within ourselves while being attached to and tempted by the wonders of the world?Like flesh, fruit, and wine. I think these elements are what got me interested in the Greek gods. Gods of the old world. Perfectly imperfect, almost within our reach. As if they were gods we could touch."
