A Hungarian harpsichordist who studied at the Bratislava Conservatory in Bratislava, Czech Republic, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague with Zuzana Ruzicicover, the country's leading harpsichordist and master teacher, and at the Mozarteum Conservatory in Salzburg with Johan Sonleitner and Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Dobozy is a master of the harpsichord, Borbora Dobozy plays Bach's "Clavier der Meansteiner Vol. 1," which won a prize at the 1983 International Harpsichord Competition in Bruges. With a replica model of the harpsichord made in Paris in 1733 by François-Etienne Blanchet I (Eckhard Merzdorf 1997), he carefully plays the deep world of Bach's "Mean Law".
