Description:
The keyboardist/bass player is known as the musical leader of SBB, a Polish band that represents the progressive rock scene in Eastern Europe. The album "SINGER", which was made at the same time as "JOZEFINA" in 1981 but was never released, was included in the box set "VIATOR 1973 - 2007" released by Metal Mind Productions in '07. The album is mainly composed of melodious songs in the vein of "JOZEFINA," including "Love on Fire" with its passionate vocals and mog synths, and "King, Queen, Knave," a ballad number with keyboards that create a dreamy mood as if you are falling into a slumber. The album also features a re-recorded version of "Z ktorych krwi krew moja)", an Eastern European symphonic rock classic from SBB's 1976 album "PAMIEC", as well as other songs that can only be heard on this album,As the subtitle suggests, the lyrics remain the same, but the melody/arrangement has been greatly revised and a version of "Bad Connection (Interception)" will be included in the '82 album "WOJNA SWIATOW" as "Interception", and a long version of "Singer, Oh Singer", the last song on "JOZEFINA", is also included. The album also includes a long version of "Singer, Oh Singer," the last song on "Jozefina," which will be included on "Wojna Swietow" in 1982. Like "JOZEFINA," this album is a must-listen for melodic/symphonic rock fans, as it is a condensed version of SBB's late 70's symphonic sound. As a bonus track, "65th St Sermon "Wonderful Sky-Ride" from '82's "WOJNA SWIATOW", demo recordings of the songs on this album, and 5 other versions of the songs are also included.
