Description:
The American Peddlers! Same name as the British organ mod band, but this is the Peddlers, a 70s Southern rock band from Texas, formed in the early 70s and based in San Antonio, Texas. They mainly performed for the U.S. military and toured Air Force bases in the U.S. They released a live album in 1979, recorded live in Denver, Colorado and Wichita Falls, Texas in June, 1979. The band's vocals are exhilarating, and the cheers of "Hard To Sing & Play," with its heavy, roaring guitars, organ, and exhilarating heavy Southern sound, are very loud and realistic. The following song, "American Trilogy," is a gentle ballad. Hackhorn Blues" was a great Southern rock song with slide guitar that soared to the heavens. Redneck Mother" was another country-rock song with a honky-tonk feel, and the crowd sang along to the chorus. The chorus of the chorus is just like a stadium band and shows how popular the band was.
