A collection of treasures by Vivaldi and his contemporariesVenice during the Baroque period was considered the golden age of Italian music and attracted important composers and performers. Violinists Marianne Picchetti and Le Conseil Ideal are enthusiastic about reviving the rich heritage of this fruitful period. It is valuable to note that six world premiere recordings are included in this release. In addition to the original editions of the Vivaldi works, "Concerto for Violin and Cello in G major" is a restored version. Almost all of the recordings reflect the work of Olivier Fouret, a score researcher. Fouret is a ballet dancer by profession, and is a familiar figure in Japan, where he often performs and teaches.
