Description:

One of the biggest names in the UK in the last 20 years, STEREOPHONICS is the first release from a rock band with a growth and vitality rarely seen anywhere else in the world, who have been improving the quality of their music with each new release throughout their 16-year career. The band's first album "Word Gets Around" debuted at #6 in the UK in 1997, followed by the double million selling "Performance & Cocktails" and the 6th album "Pull The Pin" in 2007, all of which were #1 albums in the UK. The band's presence is full of dignity and dignity. The band's debut album was mainly composed of lyrics that evoked the smell of a small town in the countryside, sturdy rock 'n' roll, and simple, continental ballads, but since becoming a four-piece band, they have added sophistication and variety to their sound, becoming a band that can freely handle lightness and heaviness. After running nonstop since their debut without a single year off, their last album "Keep Calm and Carry On" (2010) marked the expiration of their contract, which had been in place since their V2 Records days, and they took their first long rest period to allow for a reset period. They have now established their own label, Stylus Records, within Ignition, which is known for its management of Oasis, and this album is the first release on the label. The album is rich in storytelling based on a film script that frontman Kelly Jones has been writing for some time, and like Kelly's first directed music video for the new song "Violins and Tambourines," which was released on the web in October 2012, the album is a beautiful, ephemeral, cinematic world. It is a cinematic world, and the sound is more precise and refined than ever before. Clearly evolving and deepening in a way that is unlike anything they have ever done before, this is their intense, dense, high-purity rock album!
