This is a 2-CD expanded and remastered edition of "GTR," the only album work released in 1986 by GTR, a band formed by former Yes guitarist Steve Howe, who left Asia, and former Genesis member Steve Hackett, who was then working as a solo artist. This work was produced by Jeff Downes. The band's other lineup includes Max Bacon (vo.)/Phil Spaulding (b.)/Jonathan Mover (ds.). Disc 1 includes the hit single "When The Heart Rules The Mind" and 10 original tracks from the album that reflect each member's origins, plus three bonus tracks, including single versions and mixes. All tracks are newly remastered. Disc 2 contains 14 tracks of live material from the LA show in July 1986. Includes a booklet with reissued original artwork, as well as new liner notes and an essay.
