The band was formed in London, England in 1985 with Nick Van Eed (vo, g) and Kevin McMichael (g). In 1986, they made a spectacular debut with their first album "Broadcast," which was nominated for a Grammy Award and included the hit singles "I Just Died in Your Arms" and "I've Been in Love Before. Cutting Crew, a pop-rock band. The three Virgin Records albums "Broadcast" (1986), "The Scattering" (1989), and "Compus Mentus" (1992), plus B-side singles, remixes, 12-inch versions, live recordings, demos, and more, are now available on CD. 3-CD box set was released from Cherry Pop label.
