This 3-CD anthology of the Flower Pot Men, a British harmony-pop group featuring British singwriters John Carter and Ken Lewis, includes their signature song, "Let's Go To San Francisco," a hit from the Summer of Love, as well as other classic and popular songs (some under different names from different eras), two then-unreleased concept albums, and a song never before released. Inspired by the Haight-Ashbury scene, the Summer of Love season, and Brian Wilson, former Ivy Leaguers John Carter and Ken Lewis created the ambitious six-minute song "Let's Go To San Francisco" in 1967. The result was a Top 5 hit in the UK. Even as the psychedelic season passed, John Carter continued to produce concept albums.
