Ozzy Osbourne is one of the metal gods. He started his solo career as soon as he finished his career as Black Sabbath, and continued to create masterpieces of HM/HR while discovering many great guitarists including Randy Rhodes. In 2022, they released a new album, "Patient Number 9" and made a comeback. However, he announced his retirement due to a spinal injury, but in 2023, he announced the resumption of his activities. In November 1981, Ozzy released "Diary Of A Madman," recorded with the same lineup as the previous album. However, Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake left the band to join Uriah Heep, and were replaced by Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge, who started the "Diary Of A Madman Tour" on November 5, 1981.The concert, which took place on January 15 in Bloomington, Minnesota, was recorded and broadcast for the popular American music radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour". This is a live album based on the recordings used for the broadcast, and includes the encores and guitar solos. Randy Rhodes would later die in an accident on March 19 at the age of 25, so this is an extremely valuable archive of his live performances. The live performances from the period when the band was strengthening its unity are a must-see for fans, and the contents on this album will make you aware of Randy Rose's greatness as a guitarist once again. Incidentally, Don Airey played keyboards at the concert.
