Rose" recalls the golden age of black-sploitation movies and their beloved soundtracks.Inspired by the compositions and orchestral arrangements of such greats as Curtis Mayfield's "Superbad," Johnny Pate's "Shaft in Africa," and Bobby Womack's "Across110Street," the song features Tim Felten of Surefire SoulEnsemble on keyboards and Jesse Audelo on horn section.
