Description:
Pink Floyd is at the top of the British rock scene, not to mention the progressive rock scene, and since releasing their debut album in 1967, the band has continued to create one-of-a-kind albums with original sound concepts that have influenced many rock bands. The Dark Side Of The Moon, released in 1973, was a worldwide hit, spending 741 weeks on the U.S. album charts and selling over 50 million copies. Pink Floyd completed "Atom Heart Mother," one of their best-known albums, and started the "Atom Heart Mother World Tour" to promote the album even before its release. During the tour, the concert in Saarbrücken, Germany on November 28 of the same year was recorded live for broadcast on a local radio station. The master tape used for the broadcast has now been found and is finally being released on this album (4 songs from the set list were omitted due to the air time). The band also performs a band-only version of the classic "Atom Heart Mother" just after its release, as well as the previously unreleased masterpiece "Libest Spacement Monitor".The moment when Pink Floyd transformed from a psychedelic rock band to a progressive rock band is now available on CD! Imported Japanese edition with Japanese obi, English booklet and bilingual booklet>Roger Waters (b, g, vo)David Gilmour (g, vo)Richard Wright (kbds, vo)Nick Mason (ds, perc)
