Porcupine Tree was formed in 1987 by Steven Wilson, who released a new album at the end of September 2023, and has led the progressive rock scene since the 1990's. In 2022, the band returned to the scene after 12 years with their first studio album "Closure/Continuation". In 2022, the band released their first studio album in 12 years, "Closure/Continuation," marking their long-awaited return to the scene. Their live CD+DVD album "Arriving Somewhere..." was released in 2006. This album was released in March 2005, and was newly reissued as CD+Blu-ray by Transmission label in 2022, and will be newly released in 2023 in Japan in a limited paper-jacket edition for the first time! This is the band's first concert film released in Japan. It was recorded at Park West in Chicago on October 11 and 12, 2005, during the tour after the release of "Deadwing" in March 2005. This is the band's first concert film release, and features not only "Deadwing" but also many songs from past albums such as 2002's "In Absentia," and the effects-laden video is a gem that showcases the band's overwhelming ability.
