PIRI REIS, a Malaysian 5-piece hardcore band formed in 2014, is releasing a Japan-only CD with translated Japanese lyrics! What they express is emo violence against those who live in the present time and melancholy closely linked to the history and culture behind their lives. It is a melancholy that is closely linked to the history and culture behind their lives. The band has a long history, releasing a demo EP soon after its formation in 2014. Since then, they have split releases with bands such as Coma Regalia, Child Meadow, They Sleep We Live, and Sto Cosi Cosi from Tokyo, with whom they will tour Japan in 2016, but this is their first full-length album.The vinyl version of this album was co-released in 2022 with Moment of Collapse Records, React With Protest, and Zegema Beach Records, the most trusted labels for hardcore listeners in Southeast Asia, and has been described as the band's best work ever. The band's best work to date has been described as some of the best emo violence in Southeast Asia. The songs, the performances, and the sound express passion and chaos on a perfect level, and the expression of skramz that Orchid has seeded has finally blossomed in Asia, transcending time and distance. The mastering by Will Killingsworth (Dead Air Studios / ex.Orchid,Ampere) is also a definite point, and this is a Japan-only CD with Japanese lyrics translation.
