Description:
2024 Japan Commemorative Domestic Release Celebrates 525th Anniversary. A live recording of a joyous anniversary concert by the world's most famous and historic boys' choir. The Vienna Boys' Choir celebrates its 525th anniversary in 2023. To commemorate the anniversary, a live recording of the concert held at the Musikverein in Vienna was released. In addition to the Vienna Boys' Choir, the Vienna Boys' Choir was joined by the children's mixed choir "Chorus Primus," the girls' choir "Wiener Chormadchen," the youth choir "Chorus Juventus," the "alumni" choir "Chorus Viennensis," and 14 outstanding instrumentalists. The Vienna Boys' Choir is a refined and sophisticated ensemble. The Vienna Boys' Choir is known for its refined artistry, powerful sound, and effervescent charm, and is perhaps the most famous boys' choir in the world. Its international reputation is evidenced by more than 1,000 tours in over 100 different countries. Together, the four groups that make up the Vienna Boys Choir give almost 300 concerts a year, with live audiences reaching half a million people.Founded in 1498 by Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, the Vienna Boys' Choir began with a handful of boy choir members and has grown into an organization of more than 300 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18. The choir's special technical education and choral music are listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The album features truly historic compositions by composers such as Ludwig Semple, Josquin des Prez, Jacobus Fart, Monteverdi, Antonio Caldara, Mozart, Salieri, Haydn, Bruckner, Schubert, Beethoven, Joseph Strauss, and Johann Strauss II. The program was a true historical retrospective of music by composers such as Mozart, Salieri, Haydn, Bruckner, Schubert, Beethoven, Joseph Strauss and Johann Strauss II. The atmosphere of the golden hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, which was filled to capacity, is palpable. Universal Music
