Long-awaited new album by S. Carey, a malto-instrumentalist who also serves as the drummer for Bon Yvelle! Label mate Gordy joins him on backing vocals, and Casey Hubea of Sufian Stevens also contributes to the songwriting! The album was produced by Carrie herself, with Zach Hanson and Chris Messina as engineers and co-producers. Recorded primarily at April Base in Fall Creek, Wisconsin, the album features Gordy on backing vocals on three songs and Casey Fubare of Sufian Stevens on songwriting.String arrangements were created by Rob Moose of Bon Iver and Sufian Stevens, with art direction and photography by Cameron Wittich. Following the acclaim of her previous work, which received critical acclaim in a number of well-known media, Carrie's new album is a small, concentrated instrumental composition of guitars, synths, pedal steel, strings, drums, and percussion, which is more clearly and unmistakably upfront than ever before in her pursuit of "beauty in simplicity. In the year and a half since her debut, Aile The Shota has released three EPs and singles, "AINNOCENCE," "IMA," and "LOVEGO," and has worked with numerous producers, including Shin Sakiura, tofubeats, Soulflex, maeshima soshi, and A.G.O., to create a modern He has fused a wide range of music with J-POP, from contemporary city pop sounds to R&B, chill, and deep house.Titled "Epilogue," the album concludes the story of the "No Frontier," an electric and experimental song produced by Ryosuke "Dr. R" Sakai that was the first tie-in to an animated television series ("AI's Legacy" OP theme), and "Pandora," an aggressive number produced by Yohji Igarashi that is his fastest BPM song.
